Living The Jetset Lifestyle

Living The Jetset Lifestyle

The wealthy spend money on lots of luxuries.  What do the world’s richest people spend their money on?  Here is a rundown on what it takes to live the jetset lifestyle.

Travel  - Overwhelmingly, the wealthy spend much of their money on extravagant travel. They may travel for business but most travel for pleasure.  When you have that much money you can afford to fly to Paris for the weekend or go have dinner on the beach in Hawaii.

What’s the latest travel trend of the wealthy?  Eco-friendly vacations.  These include guided tours and trips to view wildlife or nature.  Trips to the Rainforest, a volcano or a safari are all “it” trips that the jetset clamor to take.  The more obscure the better.

Hotels and Resorts – Of course travel requires a stay at a hotel or resort.  The best of the world offer spectacular views and impeccable service along with large, private spaces with lots of amenities.  The jetset are used to being pampered and why not when they can afford it?  They usually require the service of a butler and chef while at the hotel.

Spas – The jetset bring luxury to a new height.  They adore being pampered and treated like royalty.  The spa is the ultimate combination of relaxation and indulgence.  Spa treatments can be costly but the wealthy hardly bat an eye at the prices.  They can order any treatments they desire including mud baths, saunas, massages and facial treatments.

Transportation – The jetset love their cars, planes and boats. Most have several or more automobiles with an average price tag over $100 grand.  They can afford the finer things in life and splurge on their cars even though they often times don’t even drive them.  They tend to be chauffeured by limo. Then there is the yacht.  Either owned or leased, the luxury yacht is a staple of the jetsetter.   These are appointed with all types of luxuries and wait staff.

Many jetsetters own their own jets.  They travel so much that they almost require the use of a private jet so they can come and go as they please.  They spend quite a bit of time in the air so they make sure that the jet is filled with all the things they need for long trips including entertainment centers and bars.

Food and Drink – Jetsetters enjoy eating well and spend a great deal of money on dining out.  Of course they dine at the most exclusive and trendy hot spots wherever they go and can rack up huge meal bills.  They also can afford the best wines and splurge on only the best bottles when they go out.  Jetsetters like to spend time with others in the same circles and may rent out the entire restaurant for their own private parties.

Designer Clothing – Every jetsetter needs to have a huge wardrobe.  They need clothes for various climates depending on where they travel that week.  They like designer clothing, especially items designed specifically for them.  Because they attend many functions and make appearances they require many different outfits.  They may not wear some items more than once and never more than one season.  Designer accessories such as handbags, shoes and watches round out the wardrobe.
